5 Minute Coaching Tip - Build a Support System

Who do you turn to, when everyone else turns to you?

How do you get help when you’re at the top of an organisation or team?

These are questions that many senior executives ponder as they try to continue to develop and grow, even after they’ve reached the top of their organisations.

If this is your situation, or one that your colleagues face, we hope this 5 minute video can help.

This coaching video explores how to build the right support team around you which is particularly useful if you are in a senior position. It explains the roles that these people could fulfil to give you additional perspective and advice.

Known as your personal development board – or ‘Bench’ – they are a group of people who support you, keep you on track, guide you, challenge you and stretch you.

In this video, Rachel shares the types of people you need on your bench and tips for taking action to create your support system.

If you're in HR or internal comms, please feel free to share this video with your senior colleagues to provide them with as much support as possible.

We hope this helps and if you have any questions about this video or professional coaching, we would love to hear from you.
