My happiest moments at Motion Learning have been whilst engaged with participants on our programmes; sometimes one to one, sometimes in a group, always when a penny has dropped, a lightbulb has gone on or a joke has been cracked for one or all of us

Challenge, enjoyment and progress combine to create a sense of learning and achievement. A desire to learn and continue to be challenged by new experiences led me from operational management in small businesses and large organisations, via recruitment, to the world of learning and development and now coaching.  

I relish the opportunity to create new relationships and deepen existing ones, exploring every client’s situation and requirements and working in partnership to develop learning solutions.

My role now is to support our team and our clients to ensure that the services we deliver create the best value and the most impact.

 I have worked with Howard & Motion Learning on a number of projects that I have been involved in and I have consistently found Howard to be knowledgable, approachable and intuitive, working in a very collaborative and focused way to ensure the support he brings is one of 'fit for purpose' activities as opposed to just generic content.

Professional Background:

My first management role was in restaurant management, for a small high end chain in London. Further roles in New York followed. Eventually I found myself in operational management in Harrods, Knightsbridge, London, before moving across to Human Resources and the Learning and Development. As one of the two partners of Motion Learning since its beginning in 2004, I’m proud to have worked with Rachel to build a highly respected, caring business with its clients interests at its heart.

  • Development and delivery of a 12 month Management Academy for a leading UK entertainment business

  • Team coaching and development for a London based luxury retail brand using the Team Management Profile tool from TMSDI

  • Coaching a senior HR professional of a global retail brand

  • Delivering communications workshops for a luxury European and international retailer

  • Developing and delivering a leadership programme for two levels of management in a London property services business
